Cafeteria/Breakfast and Lunch Programs
Breakfasts/lunches are available in the Collins and Maxwell buildings each day. Qualified families may receive free or reduced priced lunches. Application forms are on the school's website and are also available in the school offices. Students who qualify for free or reduced priced lunches will also qualify for free or reduced priced breakfasts. Serving begins at 7:40 a.m. in both buildings.
The school currently uses a computerized lunch system. You may pay into your son/daughter's account as needed. Parents will be given notice when their students account falls to a negative balance and parents will be contacted to work out a solution.

Lunch
USDA guidelines and board policy require that we provide 20 minutes each day for a child to eat her/his lunch.
Low-Balance Payments
Low-balance payments are sent by email. In addition, students with a balance that is below zero on Friday will be given a reminder note. Parents will be given notice when their student's account falls below zero. Students will not be allowed to purchase extra milk or a la carte items when their account falls below zero.
Lunches From Home
Board policy (710.3) discourages the consumption of soda pop at school. Your child may bring juice, purchase milk at school, or drink water that will be available to your child at lunchtime and throughout the day.
Meal System
We use a computerized meal system. Families have a choice of having an individual account for each of their children or a family account. With family accounts, money will be drawn from a single account, even if the children attend different buildings. Breakfasts, lunches, extra milk and kindergarten snack milk are all charged from the same account. When you send meal money with your child, the money is turned into the office for deposit. A receipt will be issued for cash payments. Parents with computer access will be able to monitor their children's accounts through the school website under Infinite Campus. You will need to get your original login information from the school office.
Free or Reduced Price Meals: Families who qualify may receive free or reduced meals. Application forms are mailed with the school newsletter at the beginning of the school year and are available throughout the school year by contacting the school office or through the Resources section in the right column of this page.
Breakfast
Breakfast is available at school. Elementary breakfast is served from 7:55 to 8:20. USDA guidelines and board policy require that we provide 10 minutes in which a child may eat his breakfast.
Please make sure your child knows whether she/he is eating breakfast because we will assume it is O.K. if the student goes through the line.
